<p>Curtis Daniel Rose, 62, of Morganton, departed from this world on Sunday, November 28, 2021 after battling with a long, lengthy sickness. He was born September 27, 1959 in New Boston, Texas to Weldon Eugene Rose and Edna Ruby Raines. Curtis was a loving and loyal husband, father, and grandfather. He loved fishing and telling stories, he had a story for every occasion. We all loved him and enjoyed everyday with him. He will always be remembered and missed.</p> <p>Curtis is lovingly remembered by his wife, Shelia Marie Rose of Morganton; children, Curtis Dylan Rose and wife Alicia Rose of Morganton, Ivy Michelle Long and husband, Mitchell Long of Greenbrier; sister, Jan Van Houten and husband Forest Van Houten; grandchildren, Violet Rose, Brianna Eans, Leah Jones, Christen Jones, Trae McMurtrey, Adilee McMurtrey, Gabi Presnull, Rowan Long; nieces and nephews, Ashely, Colston, Hariey and many other friends and family members.</p> <p>Curtis is preceded in death by his father, Weldon Eugene Rose.</p> <p>Arrangements are entrusted to Ozark View Funeral Home.
