<p>Carol Lee Evans Lacey, 75, passed away at her home in Pearl, MS on Sun. Nov. 28, 2021. Visitation was held on Wed. Dec. 1, 2021 from 12pm-12:45pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services were 1pm on Wed. Dec. 1, 2021 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial in the Brandon Memorial Gardens in Brandon, MS.</p> <p>Mrs. Lacey was born in Jackson, MS on June 5, 1946 to the late George Evans and Alice Quinn Evans. She was a Christian lady and a mother who loved her husband and children very much. Mrs. Lacey was a cosmetologist, a seamstress, a hairdresser and an office manager for Lacey Digging. Her hobbies were working in her garden and she also loved to cook.</p> <p>She is survived by her husband, Joe W. Lacey; 8 children, Troy Blackmon (Michelle), Forrest Blackmon (Amy), Jaya Grayson (Greg), Resha Badke (Fred), William Lacey (Iris), Darlene Hays (Glenn), Jerry Lacey (Emily) and Timothy Lacey; 8 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and 2 sisters, Helen Crothers and Ann Herrington. Mrs. Lacey is also preceded in death by her daughter, Dawn Rainey and 7 brothers and sisters.</p>Obituary
