Graveside services for Mr. Preston Lavon Atkins will be held at 12:00PM, Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Prospect Cemetery in Clay, LA with Bro. Billy Taylor officiating. Family will accept friends for visitation from 9:00-11:00AM, Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe. Preston was born on December 14, 1957 in Ruston, LA and passed from this life on November 27, 2021 at his home in West Monroe at the age of 63. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Lavon Atkins and Mary Patricia Atkins. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Patricia Atkins; son, Tyler Atkins and wife Rhonda; daughter, Christina Johnson and husband David; son, Bebe Lively; daughters, Jamie Delancy and husband Dustin, Robin West and husband Tracey, Renee Taylor and husband Steve; brothers, Reagan Atkins and wife Monica, and Elliot Atkins and Wife Quintana. Also left to cherish his memory include 19 grandchildren and 9 great- grandchildren, and a host of extended family and numerous friends. Pallbearers will be Tyler Atkins, Christina Atkins, Justin Atkins, Jerred Atkins, Parker Atkins, and Ethan Atkins. Honorary pallbearers will be David Johnson, Dustin Delancy, Peter Watzek, and Phillip Narron.
