Bobbi A. Golden

Mrs. Bobbi A. (Cordell) Golden, 60, of Chambersburg, PA and formerly of Pond Bank, PA passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021, in the Chambersburg Hospital. Born May 21, 1961 in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Robert N. and Bettie E. (Hovis) Cordell. Bobbi graduated from Chambersburg Area Senior High School with the Class of 1979. She and her husband, the late Kenneth E. Golden, II, were married on March 12, 1993. Mr. Golden died on May 25, 2014. Bobbi was most recently employed as a driver for Lytle Bus Company, where she helped transport children with special needs. She attended services at Grand Point Church, Chambersburg and enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles, Las Vegas Raiders football, racing and crocheting. She is survived by one son, Jarred N. Cordell of Chambersburg; two brothers, Paul “Tony” Cordell of Forksville, PA and Phil A. Cordell and his wife, Sherry of Chambersburg; a special cousin, Danett Shaffer of Fayetteville; and numerous additional extended family members. Services will be held at 7:00 P.M., Friday December 3, 2021 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro with Pastor DeVona Cordell officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services, Friday evening, in the funeral home.
