<p>Mildred Bertha Clemens Hilling, 93, of Morgantown, passed away Saturday, November 27th, 2021 at her home with her family at her side.</p><p><br></p><p>Born July 21st, 1928 in Morgantown, Mildred was a daughter of the late William and Darmaris Lewis Clemens.</p><p><br></p><p>Survivors include her four children, Monty Hilling, Terry Hilling, Louann Snider and Bradley Hilling; her grandchildren, Chris Hilling, Terri Lynn Fetty, Robbie Hilling, Tonya Lundberg, Mallory Jakiel, Angie Hall, Andy Steel, Amber Faulknier, and Kyle Hilling; several great-grandchildren; and her sisters Frances Hilling and June Clemens.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Royce G. Hilling; and her granddaughter, Kathy Steel.</p><p><br></p><p>Mildred's family was the most important aspect of her life. She would give anything to them to help. She loved crocheting and quilting, and was an avid reader. For a while, she also took up building dolls and selling them. She enjoyed taking the bus to travel different places.</p><p><br></p><p>At her request, Mildred has been cremated and a celebration of her life will take place in the Spring of 2022 with details to be announced at that time.</p><p><br></p><p>Smith Funeral &amp; Cremation Care of Westover / Morgantown, is providing care and guidance to the family.</p><p><br></p><p>Personal condolences and other symbolic gestures for the family may be offered at www.smithfcc.com.</p>
