Barbara (Cavitch) Rivel

NORTH ANDOVER- Barbara (Cavitch) Rivel ,86, of Brightview North Andover, formerly of Cinnaminson New Jersey, died Saturday, November 27 ,2021 at Lawrence General Hospital. Barbara was born in Washington New Jersey on January 19, 1935 to the late Michael and Mary (Glazier) Cavitch. Prior to being a homemaker for many years, Barbara was employed as a nurse at Hunterdon Medical Center in New Jersey where she met her husband of 57 years. The widow of the late William M. Rivel who died in 2017, she is survived by her daughters, Diane Abel and her husband Scott of Andover and Lisa Rivel of Reston N.J. Also among her survivors are her brother Michael Cavitch and his wife Charlene of Washington N.J. and her sister Kay Maddock and her husband Thomas of Tuson Az. Barbara is also survived by her three grandchildren, Alexandra, Bradley and Carter Abel. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday December 1, 2021 at 11AM at Spring Grove Cemetery in Andover.
