<p>Robert &quot;Bo Pete&quot; Arnold Colquitt 72 of 2501 Slater Ave died Sunday November 28, 2021, at his home.&nbsp;</p> <p>Robert was born on February 5, 1949 in Valdosta, GA to the late Robert Colquitt and Sarah Arnold. During his youth &quot;Bo Pete&quot; as he was affectionately known as, was drafted into the army as an infantryman in Echo Company 3/32 Inf under the First Infantry Division during the Vietnam War from 1967 to 1969. After his discharge he resided in&nbsp; Huntington, NY, where he worked as a master carpenter for 20 years. His enjoyment was horse racing. The adventures of &quot;Bo Pete&quot; led him to his final home in Fayetteville, NC with his loving family.&nbsp;</p> <p>Robert is preceded in death by his sister in love Mary Lee Davis and his brother in love Sammy Davis.</p> <p><strong>The family will hold a Memorial Service on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 10:00 am at Temple of Deliverance located at 446 Hillsboro St. Fayetteville, NC 28301.</strong></p> <p>Robert is survived by his daughters: Victoria &quot;Tash&#39;e&quot; Gamson and&nbsp;Felicia Mercer; son: Bashiem &quot;Sheriff&quot; Hammonds; brother: Al &quot;Monday&quot; Colquitt; sisters: Linda Dailey and&nbsp;Mamie Jones; 8 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.&nbsp;</p> <p>The family would like to give a special thank you to Temple of Deliverance and Cape Fear Hospice.&nbsp;</p> <p>Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Service &amp; Cremation is honored to serve the Arnold family.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
