<p>Robert "Bo Pete" Arnold Colquitt 72 of 2501 Slater Ave died Sunday November 28, 2021, at his home. </p> <p>Robert was born on February 5, 1949 in Valdosta, GA to the late Robert Colquitt and Sarah Arnold. During his youth "Bo Pete" as he was affectionately known as, was drafted into the army as an infantryman in Echo Company 3/32 Inf under the First Infantry Division during the Vietnam War from 1967 to 1969. After his discharge he resided in Huntington, NY, where he worked as a master carpenter for 20 years. His enjoyment was horse racing. The adventures of "Bo Pete" led him to his final home in Fayetteville, NC with his loving family. </p> <p>Robert is preceded in death by his sister in love Mary Lee Davis and his brother in love Sammy Davis.</p> <p><strong>The family will hold a Memorial Service on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 10:00 am at Temple of Deliverance located at 446 Hillsboro St. Fayetteville, NC 28301.</strong></p> <p>Robert is survived by his daughters: Victoria "Tash'e" Gamson and Felicia Mercer; son: Bashiem "Sheriff" Hammonds; brother: Al "Monday" Colquitt; sisters: Linda Dailey and Mamie Jones; 8 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. </p> <p>The family would like to give a special thank you to Temple of Deliverance and Cape Fear Hospice. </p> <p>Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Service & Cremation is honored to serve the Arnold family. </p> <p> </p>Obituary
