JOHN FREEMAN SR. Zirconia, North Carolina – John Thomas Freeman Sr., 77, husband of the late Lille Ellen Yonce Freeman, passed away Saturday, November 27th, 2021 at Missions Hospital in Asheville. John was a native of Walhalla, South Carolina, he was the son of the late John B. Freeman and Sarah Freeman. John worked in fire protection and retired from Diboco, of Flat Rock, North Carolina. John is survived by his son, John T. Freeman Jr. (Kelly O.) of Burnsville, North Carolina and a daughter, Pamela Freeman McMahan (Les T.) of Zirconia, North Carolina; twelve grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm, Wednesday, December 1st, 2021 from the Chapel of Sandifer Funeral Home in Westminster, SC with burial to follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm - 8:00pm, Tuesday, November 30th, 2021 at Sandifer Funeral Home. The family is at their respective homes. Flowers are accepted.
