Joyce Westmoreland, 65, died Saturday morning, November 27, 2021 at her residence near Saltillo after a sudden illness.   Born in Tiptonville, Tenn. on December 16, 1955 to the late Herschel Sanderson and Dale Runions Sanderson, she moved to Lee County as a young girl and lived here until her death. A Baptist, she was a master cook and worked for the Belden and Mooreville Truck Stops until becoming disabled about 10 years ago.  She loved cooking for family and friends, buying way more costume jewelry than she ever needed but her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren.

 Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, Nov 30, 2021 from the Sadie Holland Memorial Chapel at Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service on Tuesday only.  Holland Funeral Directors is entrusted with arrangements.  For those unable to attend, the service may be viewed at www.hollandfuneraldirectors.com/Livestreaming. 

Joyce is survived by her children; Carl Lewis (Chrissy) of Nettleton,  Ryan Wetmoreland of Birmingham Ridge, Cynthia Crabb of Booneville and Stephanie Wilkinson of Birmingham Ridge;  her grandchildren; William, Chyenne, Eric, Chad, Rudy, Zack, Bailey, Bentley, Jace and Amelia; 1 great grandson, Alvie. Her sisters, Dorce Green of Mooreville and Betty Scott of Marietta.  A host of friends and other near relatives.

Pallbearers will be Bailey Watkins, Ryan Westmoreland, Carl Lewis, Eric Caldwell, Andrew Kulovitz and William Lewis.
