Patricia "Nanny Ann" Donovant Goad

Patricia “Nanny Ann” Donovant Goad, 74, of Martinsville, VA passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021. She was born on March 31, 1947 to the late William Robert Donovant and Lillie Mae Brim Donovant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Sharon Baker and Yvonne Marie Thornton; brother, Bobby Dean Donovant; grandchild, Ryan Parsons; and great-grandchild, Harper Ramey. Mrs. Goad was a daycare provider for children and attended Victory Baptist Church in Fieldale, VA. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Dean Goad of the residence; daughter, Teresa Parsons (David) of Winston-Salem; son, Jessie “Dean” Goad (Bonnie) of Franklin County, VA; sisters, Liz Jamison, Ruth Kendrick, Jean Hall, and Linda Darlene Handy; brothers, William Donovant, Jr., Ray Donovant, Ronnie Lee Donovant, and Timmy Donovant; grandchildren, Brad Parsons, Kristi Parsons, Cory Parsons, Tori Ramey, and Tyler Goad; and great-grandchildren, McKenzie Parsons, Kyleigh Snead, Sophia Parsons, Isabella Parsons, Aryanna Parsons, Hallie Ramey, and Hagen Ramey. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 29, 2021 at Norris Funeral Services, Martinsville Chapel with Reverend Dan Schelling officiating. A visitation we be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Victory Baptist Church in Fieldale, VA and other times at the family residence.
