Landon L. Bitner, age 37, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was born on September 1, 1984, in State College, PA to Lynn R. Bitner and Laura J. Schreckengast Bitner. Landon graduated from Central Mountain High School in Mill Hall and went on to graduate from Empire Beauty School in Williamsport where he earned his cosmetology license. Landon followed his dream of being a top-notch hairstylist working in several area salons and then continued his dream after relocating to Pittsburgh. Landon was known for his expertise in his field but was exceptional with his blow dry styles. He was a master! Landon was also a great cook and loved to sew. He is survived by his mother, Laura Bitner of Pleasant Gap; father, Lynn Bitner of Beech Creek; brother, Loren Bitner; and nephew, Syrus Bitner of Lock Haven, and a bonus brother, Pastor Michael Reed of Wilmerding, PA. Landon is also survived by his aunts, Angela, Karen, Rena, and Tonya; his uncles, Keith, James, and Jay. He also leaves behind many cousins and great aunts and great uncles. He has one surviving grandmother, June Swope of Lock Haven. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Dick and Shirley Bitner of Beech Creek, a maternal grandfather, Kenneth Schreckengast, and his aunt Sherie and uncle Carl Neese, both of Mill Hall. Landon will be remembered for his bright smile, impeccable dress, and over the top personality. Those who were fortunate enough to know him, never forgot him. All services and celebrations will be held at a later date.
