Charles Arlen "Charlie" Gross Obituary

Sharpsburg, Maryland-Charles Arlen “Charlie” Gross, 36 of Sharpsburg, MD passed away on Wednesday November 24, 2021 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile collision.

 

Born in Frederick, MD on September 27, 1985, he was the son of Beth A. Gross Easterday of Sharpsburg, MD and the late Harry C. Kerns.

 

He attended Boonsboro High School and was employed as a Delivery Driver with UPS.  He was of the Lutheran faith.

 

Charlie was a great father and loved his children very much.  He was hard working and very smart and could fix anything and would help anyone.

 

In addition to his mother, he is survived by wis wife of 3 years Heather E. Ramey Gross, a daughter Davanee Miner, a son Cash Arlen Gross, a daughter Remi Ann Gross, a stepson Eric Shaw, Jr., sister Christy Ord and her husband Bobby, sister Stacy Easterday, brother Nolan Gross, niece Madyson Ord, nephew Brayden Ord and stepmother Christie D. Harshman.

 

The family will receive friends on Monday November 29, 2021 from 6:00-8:00pm at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD.  For the convenience of family and friends the funeral home will open Monday at 1:00pm.

 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday November 30, 2021 at 2:00pm at the Osborne Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Smoot officiating.  Burial will be private.

 

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, 4 E. Church St. Frederick, MD 21701.
