<p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size:20px;"><strong>Grover Hickman Sr.- Gray, Tennessee</strong></span></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Grover Shannon Hickman, Sr., of Gray, Tennessee, passed away at his home with family at his side, on Wednesday morning, November 24, 2021.&nbsp; Mr. Hickman was born on November 8, 1932, in Kingsport, Tennessee, to the late Enoch Tip and Bethel Jane McClellan Hickman.&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Mr. Hickman was a native of and raised in Kingsport.&nbsp; He was a graduate of Lynnview High School and he received his Bachelor&rsquo;s degree from ETSU.&nbsp; He retired as a pilot from the US Navy.&nbsp; He was also a mechanical engineer, and the founder of Shannon Inc.&nbsp; He loved working on RC airplanes and he maintained his pilot&rsquo;s license and still enjoyed flying planes.&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Mr. Hickman was a Jehovah&rsquo;s Witness and attended the Woodland Heights congregation of Jehovah&rsquo;s Witness of Kingsport.</strong></span></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>In addition to his parents, Mr. Hickman was preceded in death by his wife Lucille Adams Hickman, one brother, and four sisters.&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Those left to cherish Mr. Hickman&rsquo;s memory include his daughter and her husband, Linda &amp; Gary Stamper; his son and his wife, Grover Shannon Hickman, Jr. &amp; Deborah; two grandchildren, Chad Stamper and Stacy Alford; and two great-grandchildren, Robert Stamper and Halle Stamper.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Mr. Hickman will be placed with his wife at the Mountain Home National Cemetery at a later date.&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Snyder&rsquo;s Memorial Gardens is honored to serve the family of Mr. Grover S. Grover Hickman Sr.- Gray, Tennessee

Grover Shannon Hickman, Sr., of Gray, Tennessee, passed away at his home with family at his side, on Wednesday morning, November 24, 2021.  Mr. Hickman was born on November 8, 1932, in Kingsport, Tennessee, to the late Enoch Tip and Bethel Jane McClellan Hickman.
