<p>With broken hearts we sadly announce the passing of our beloved mother, Beverley Macumber. She passed away peacefully at home on November 19, 2021 with family by her side.</p><p><br></p><p>Beverley was born in Windsor, Nova Scotia on June 4, 1942 to Gerald and Viola Young. She grew up in Wentworth, Nova Scotia and moved to Foulmouth, Nova Scotia where she met the love of her life Donald. They were married April 27, 1963 and welcomed their 4 children into the world. Roxanne, Lecia, Donald(Skip) Jr., and Lori.</p><p><br></p><p>She moved with her family to Thompson, Manitoba in the summer of 1970. She worked as a secretary at the Royal Canadian Legion for many years until she retired.</p><p><br></p><p>She enjoyed reading, playing bingo and spending time with family and friends. Her home was a place of gathering for any holidays or occasions. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life and she spent a majority of her retirement perfecting her role as Nana.</p><p><br></p><p>Beverley is survived by her children: Roxanne (Sonny), Lecia, Donald (Skip) Jr., and Lori. Her grandchildren: Ashley, Ryan, April, Dallas, Brandin, Larissa, Jennifer, Gregorie, Breeann, and multiple great grandchildren, family and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Beverley was predeceased by her parents: Gerald and Viola Young, her husband: Donald Macumber Sr., son in-law: Aaron Hlushak, and grandsons: Dustin Macumber, A.J. Waite and Jesse Macumber.</p><p><br></p><p>A private family Celebration of Life was held in Thompson, Manitoba officiated by Pastor Chris Lowe. Interment to follow at a later date at The Thompson Cemetery.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, if friends and family so desire, please donate to TD Children’s Hospital Foundation, a foundation she made monthly contributions to.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
