<p>Rosella E. Krueger, age 96, a Manitowoc resident, passed away on Tuesday morning, November 23, 2021, at her residence.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>The former Rosella Leist was born on July 8, 1925, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Jerome and Elizabeth (Phillips) Leist. She grew up in Manitowoc and was a 1943 graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. On November 14, 1953, Rosella married James J. Krueger at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on July 16, 2013. Rosella was a homemaker and took care of the needs of her family. Rosella volunteered her time with the American Cancer Society office at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, the Manitowoc Historical Society and at St. Vincent de Paul Society office. She enjoyed knitting, gardening, cooking, reading, puzzles, and genealogy. Rosella was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish.</p> <p>Survivors include her children: Joan Krueger, Manitowoc; John (Barbie) Krueger, Neenah; Chris Krueger, Manitowoc; Al Krueger, Manitowoc; Chuck (Dawn) Krueger, Manitowoc; Bill (Jill) Krueger, Menasha; Theresa Carroll, Appleton; twelve grandchildren: Christine (Andrew) Raak, Jennifer (Michael) Lueder, Christian, Jonathan and Will Carroll, Jacob Coenen, Danielle (Seth) Waddell, Ryan (Allison) Krueger, Ross Younger, Tyler Younger, Jenna (Riley) Thoss, Becky Krueger; nine great grandchildren: Gavin, Henley, Griffin, Harper, Adalee, Lana, Gavin, Jacob, and Jackson; one brother and sister-in-law: Eugene (Rosemary) Leist, OR; one sister: Lois Strzyzewski, Manitowoc; one sister-in-law: Virginia Pankratz, TX; nieces, nephews and other relatives survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son-in-law: Bret Carroll; four sisters and four brothers-in- law: Marion Kreie, Lucille (George) Lallensack, Isabel (Charles) Boomsliter, Coletta (Harry) Rogala, Norbert Strzyzewski; one brother and sister-in-law: Kenneth (Phyllis) Leist; four brothers-in-law and three sisters-in-law include: Joseph (Florence) Krueger, Henry (Harriet) Krueger, Rosemary (James) Beecher, Bernard &ldquo;Skip&rdquo; Pankratz.</p> <p>A Memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday December 4, 2021, at St. Francis of Assisi Grand (1416 Grand Ave) Manitowoc. The Rev. Ben Johnson will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with entombment of her cremated remains at the Calvary Mausoleum Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call at the Church on Saturday, December 4, 2021, from 9:00AM until the time of Mass at 11:00AM. The family is requesting that all people attending be masked.</p> <p>The Pfeffer Funeral Home is assisting the family.
