Mitch was born April 6, 1954 and passed from this life on November 21, 2021 at the age of 67 in Monroe, LA. He was a member of the NRA, he loved fishing, hunting, woodwork, playing his guitar. He liked to play here locally back in the 70’s. Mitch had a love for dogs and was an animal rescuer. He also loved surfing, socializing, and storytelling. He is preceded in death by his spouse, Dorothy Jean McFarlin; father, Ben Mitchell McFarlin; mother, Margaret Jean McFarlin; grandmothers, Annie Mae McFarlin and Lavelle Bradley. Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Trevor Colin McFarlin; daughter, Erica Lynn McFarlin; brothers, Bradley McFarlin and Storey McFarlin; daughter in law, Crystal McFarlin; two grandchildren, Andrew McFarlin and Haley McFarlin; nephew, Duncan McFarlin.
