CHARLENE MEACHAM BELL Seneca – Charlene Meacham Bell, 85, wife of Dr. Harold Bruce Bell, passed away Thursday, November 25th, 2021 at Prisma Health Lila Doyle. Born in Ripley, TN, Charlene was the daughter of the late Rev. Roy Thomas Meacham and Estelle Stevens Meacham. She was a 1953 graduate of Bob Jones University Academy, owner of Pruitt-Bell Furniture Company, and was a Hearing Aid Specialist; with offices in Anderson and Oconee counties. Charlene was also active in Seneca, being the former president of the Seneca Pilot Club. In addition to her husband of 64 years, she is survived by son, Steve Bell; daughter, Sherri James; grandchildren, Brandy James, Melissa James, and Myles Bell; great-grandchildren, Myles Bell Jr. and Sammy Borders. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Oconee Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family is at their respective homes.
