Una Elizabeth Smith
<p style="text-align: center;">Early this morning- November 23, 2021- our mini-mighty matriarch Una Elizabeth Newhook Smith, with her husband of 70 years and her children Judy, Robin, Billy and Wanda at her side - bid us all farewell. Over the last several weeks Mom held court, and a parade of family and friends traveled far and wide to have a final precious visit. Although her family is large and everyone will miss her dearly, the number of people whose lives she touched in her 91 years is too vast to count. She was —- and will always be —— simply unforgettable.</p> <p style="text-align: center;">Beloved wife of William. Cherished mother of Judy (Warne), Robin, William Jr. (Elizabeth) and Wanda (Francis). Nan will be sadly missed by James, Tarah, Eliza, Amarina, John, Amber, Tiffany, Stephanie, Kimberley, Jonathan, Sara and Joseph and by her great grandchildren Bradon, Illissa, Vincent, Anderson, William, Alina, Ryas, Holly, Amaya, Emerlie, Gabriella, Jacob, Hunter, Devon, Joseph, Honor, Petrie and Poppy. Una is survived by her siblings Jonas (the late Rosalind), Rex (the late Sheila), Otto (Christina), Wally and Rose (Eric) and by her sisters-in-law Sheila and Florence. Predeceased by siblings Lewis (Sandy), Arthur (Martha), Robert, Melvin and Jacob. Una will be remembered by her friend of 80 years, Elsie Vogey. She will also be remembered by her many nieces, nephews and extended family.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"> </p> <p style="text-align: center;">A private ceremony was held and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
