Ruth Berriault

Ruth (nee Angel) Berriault October 17, 1930 – November 23, 2021 It is with heavy hearts that the family of Ruth announce the passing of their mom, predeceased by her husband and our dad, Andrew Berriault 1987. Mom is now with her mom Ann Angel and her dad Harry Angel, whom in her final days spoke of often. Mom is now reunited with her sister Georgie (nee Angel) and brother-in-law Tony Longo, sister Jessie (nee Angel) and brother-in-law John Plewes, nephew Doug Plewes and her brother Doug Angel and is survived by her sister-in-law Gloria. Mom also leaves behind the loves of her life, 9 children. Darlene (late Victor) – Barrie, Dale (Bruce) – Wasaga Beach, Debbie – Collingwood, Patsy (Ron) – Owen Sound, Randy (Debbie) – Collingwood, Sandy (late David) – Stayner, Cindy (Tom) – Wasaga Beach, Todd (Susan) – Collingwood and Brent (Gena) – Collingwood. Mom was blessed to share her love with 42 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. All of whom she loved so dearly. Mom loved to travel, especially with her children and her niece Gloria and Lorraine. Mom maintained special relationships with all her nieces and nephews, especially Joe which shared her birthday. Although Mom’s life didn’t come without struggles, mom always found ways to overcome them and remained a strong, fun loving and most caring woman we knew. She always put the needs of others before her own. Mom lived a full life leaving special memories for us to cherish forever. Thank you! Mom your job is done now, and we must move forward with all you taught us! Till we meet again. XOXO A special thank you to Dr. Rowlinson, who cared for mom for 43 years and Dr. Quigg, for his support and care in her final days. We would also like to thank all the nurses that cared for her at the C.G.M.H. A private family service was held on Thursday November 25, 202, followed by cremation. Donations may be made in Mom’s memory to Collingwood General and Marine Hospital or your charity of choice.
