<p>Barbara J. (Hauger) Leight, 75 of West Deer Township, died Tuesday November 23, 2021 at her home with her family by her side. She was born April 6, 1946 in New Kensington to the late E. Watson Hauger and S. Avanell (Miller) Schafer. Barbara grew up in New Ken graduating from New Kensington High School in 1964. She has lived in West Deer for the past 53 years. Barb attended Arnold Methodist Church, Arnold. She loved roller skating, flea marketing, all her animals, dancing and decorating for all the holidays.</p> <p>Survivors include her husband of 53 years Ralph M. Leight, Sr. her son R. Matthew Leight, Jr. at home; her daughter Lynette Y. Leight and her fiancé Marcus D. Render of White Oak and her sister Margaret A. (Ellis) McAdams of West Deer.</p> <p>She was preceded in death by her father E. Watson Hauger, her mother S. Anavell (Miller) Hauger Schafer and her step-father Ralph J. Schafer and her infant brother Eddie Hauger.</p> <p><strong>At Barbara’s request all viewing, services and burial will be private. Arrangements were entrusted to the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Twp. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the West Deer Dog Shelter, 109 East Union Road, Cheswick, PA 15024.
