Anne L. Jones

<p>Anne L. Jones, 82, of Tiffin, passed away at 4:50 a.m., Thursday, November 25, 2021 at the Willows of Tiffin.</p> <p>Anne was born on December 4, 1938 in Lebanon, OH to the late Marion and Lois (Kauffman) Risley. She married Robert T. Jones Jr., in Columbus, on September 5, 1959 and he preceded her in death on February 13, 2011.</p> <p>Survivors include her children, Greg Jones of Sylvania, Andrew (Kimberly) Jones of Bloomdale, Sarah (Brett) Johnson of Perrysburg, seven grandchildren, Ariel (Mike) Leonhardt, Gabriel Jones, Amanda and Brett Jones, Meghan, Keegan and Braedan Johnson, a brother, Joe Risley of Hilliard.</p> <p>Anne retired from Tiffin Mercy Hospital as a Registered Nurse after 30 plus years. She was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church, Mother&#39;s Club and the Do Nothing Club. Anne was a 1956 graduate of Clyde High School and a 1959 graduate of White Cross School of Nursing.</p> <p>Anne was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter-in-law, Andrea Jones and a brother, Lee Risley.</p> <p>The family would like to thank the staff at Tiffin Willows and Heartland Hospice for their amazing care of Anne and also Annie Zimmerman for her devotion to Anne&#39;s many needs at home.</p> <p>Funeral services for Anne will be held at 11:30 a.m., Monday, December 6, 2021, at the Engle-Shook Funeral Home &amp; Crematory in Tiffin, with Pastor James Sharrett officiating. Visitation for family and friends will also be held on Monday, from 10:00 a.m., until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be follow the services on Monday, at Shiloh cemetery.</p> <p>Memorial contributions may be made to Shiloh United Methodist Church or&nbsp;Heartland Hospice.</p>

There aren't enough words. I loved this lady! I always thought of her more as a favorite aunt than a neighbor. I will miss knowing that she is there. I sure wish I could be there....

My sympathy for Anne's passing. I did not know her, but recognized her cap, so I know she was a terrific nurse. Only the best graduate from White Cross Nursing!

Our sympathies to Greg, Andy, Ellen and their families. Anne was a good neighbor and great mentor. Her kindness and wisdom will be missed. She always made the best ham loaf for church pot-luck dinners. Your families will be in our prayers.
