<p>Patricia R. Rootes</p> <p>March 17, 1931 – November 23, 2021</p> <p>Patricia R. Rootes passed away at Fairview Range Hospital in Hibbing on Tuesday, November 23, 2021. Patricia was born on March 17, 1931 to John and Mary (Oswald) Rotar. She was united in marriage to Raymond A. Rootes on May 20, 1950. They made their home in Hibbing where they raised their 6 children. Patricia was a caring, loving and nurturing lady. She worked for the old Hibbing Electronics before retiring in 1991. Patricia is survived by her children, Rose (Mike) Javorina, Janet Rootes, Patrick Rootes and Ida Meyer, daughter-in-law Sandra Rootes, 8 grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a special companion Robert Valley. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Raymond in 1991, sons Joseph in 2005 and Allen in 2017, and her parents and siblings.</p> <p>At Patricia’s request there will be no services.</p> <p>Inurnment will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing. </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>Obituary
