Michael Adrian Harper “Mike”, 66, passed away early Friday morning, November 19,2021, in his home in Gautier, Ms. Mike was born August 29, 1955, in Waverly, Tn, to James “Bud” Harper and Carol Fortner. He worked as an Operation Manager in Pensacola, Fl, for Enhanced Environmental and Emergency Services (E3). He was loved and respected by all that knew him in life, especially his family and those he worked with. Mike enjoyed Saturday mornings on his boat, fishing, and riding his motorcycle. He was a devoted husband (26 years), father, grandfather, brother, son, and friend. Mike was proceeded in death by his father, James “Bud” Harper; his stepfather, Bobby Fortner; and his daughter, Sherrie Killingsworth. Mike is survived by his wife, Tammy Harper; sons, Randall Harper and Joshua LeBlanc; sister, Misty Malone; mother, Carol Fortner; daughters-in-law, Amber Harper and Melissa LeBlanc; and grandchildren, London Grace Harper, Camille Ivy Harper, Elise Killingsworth, Emily Killingsworth, Hunter Killingsworth, Dax LeBlanc, Chelsea Fuller, and Savannah Fuller; along with other family and friends. The family has chosen to honor his final wishes in that he did not want to have a wake or a funeral, but rather, a celebration of life in his honor. The gathering will be organized by his immediate family and will inform close family and friends when a date is set. The family asks that you please contact his son, Joshua LeBlanc, if you are interested in being a part of his celebration. Heritage Funeral Home, locally owned and operated in Moss Point/ Escatawpa, MS, is honored to serve the family of Mr. Michael Adrian Harper.
