Mr. Arden Reid Rector, 73, of Bessemer City, NC, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Atrium Health-Cleveland, Shelby, NC.

Graveside service with Military Honors will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Woodside Cemetery, Clover, SC.  The family will receive friends 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday, November 29, 2021 at M. L. Ford & Sons, 209 N. Main Street, Clover, SC.

Mr. Rector was born March 31, 1948 in Weaverville, NC to the late Charles Yates and Beaulah Reid Rector.  He was a U. S. Army Veteran and was retired from Duke Energy.  Arden was the widower of Tu Nguyen Rector.

Survivors are his daughter Sherry R. Ruff (Allen) of Bessemer City, NC; two sisters; and one brother.
