Helen Stonecipher Clark Goodman Went to be with Jesus and many loved ones November 23, 2021. She was born to Nora Wilson Stonecipher and Joseph O. Stonecipher March 5, 1925 in Oakdale, TN. She was a long time member of Emerald Ave. United Methodist Church and the Christian Service Sunday School Class. She was a graduate of Tn. Wesleyan College and Ft. Sanders Hospital School of Nursing. She was retired as a Registered Nurse from St. Mary's Hospital after 30 years of service. She is preceeded in death by parents, sister Francis Ann and brother Joseph O. (Pat) Stonecipher, Jr. Grandparents Joseph M. and Sarah B. Stonecipher and Charles H. and Harriet Williams Wilson. First husband of 43 years and father of her children, Harry Edmund Clark, Jr. Second husband of 7-1/2 years, Merriel Ivan Goodman. She is survived by sons Harry Edmund Clark III (Sandy Condry), David Thomas Clark (Sharon Sutton) and Joseph Douglas Clark (Rebecca Christian). Sister Norma S. Blair. Grandchildren Lisa Henderson, Cameron Clark, Justin Christian, Chris Clark, Ethan Clark, Marina Matticola and Lauren Brady. Brother-in-law Kenneth Clark (Nancy). Her beloved nieces Brook, Tina and Mary and several cousins. Many much-beloved great-grandchildren. She was babtized in the Emory River below Oakdale United Methodist Church in 1933 and again in the Jordan River with second husband Merriel Goodman. She dearly loved the Lord, her church, her family and many friends and especially Max Willocks and Merna Roberts. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Avenue at North Broadway, a funeral service will follow at 5:00 p.m. with Reverend Bob Bean and Reverend Dennis Loy officiating. Interment will be private. A Celebration of Life Service will be announced at a later date.
