<p>Regina A. “Rae” Klonowski,</p><p>Saginaw, Michigan</p><p><br></p><p> Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother went to be with the Lord Tuesday, November 23, 2021. Age 99 years. Daughter of the late Theodore and Catherine (Mikowski) Peplinski, Regina was born April 21, 1922 in Cedar, Michigan. She was married to Daniel J. Klonowski, her loving husband of 53 years, on October 11, 1947. He predeceased her October 26, 2000. Regina had been employed by the State of Michigan Department of Education and the Department of Treasury retiring in 1986. She was a member of St. John Paul II Parish, St. Josaphat Catholic Church, its Altar Rosary Society and past president of the Home and School Association and oldest member of League of Catholic Women. She was a volunteer for The Community Prescription Support Program (CRxSP). </p><p><br></p><p> Surviving to cherish her memory are five daughters, Sister Phyllis Klonowski O.P. / R Ph. BS and MS , Saginaw; Judith and Thomas Schilens, Westlake, Ohio; Grace and John Noah, Birch Run; Linda LaForest, Saginaw; Danielle Klonowski Noah and her husband Wayne Noah, Carrollton; nine grandchildren, Jennifer and Richard Hufziger, Daniel and Jenniffer Schilens, Joseph and Megan Schilens, Olivia and Matthew Kostecke, Benjamin and Jhaleh Schilens, Daniel and Kelsey Federspiel, Dawn Federspiel, Joshua and Kristina Noah, Samantha and Brian Michael; 22 great-grandchildren, Makayla, Jacqueline, Brigitta and Aurora Hufziger, Kyrstin, Thomas and Patrick Schilens, Ryan, Paige, Audrey, Macy and Carly Schilens, Jezebel, Jesslyn , Celeste and Matthias Kostecke, Christian and Brody Schilens, Alexander and Madison Michael, Riley and Rowen Noah; one sister, Adeline Neil, West Covina, California; many nieces and nephews. Regina was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers, Sister Alice Peplinski SJ, Patricia Acker, Stephen, Joseph and Leon Peplinski and one great-grandson, Zechariah Thomas Kostecke.</p><p><br></p><p> Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at St. John Paul II Parish, St. Josaphat Catholic Church, 469 Shattuck Rd., Saginaw. Rev. Fr. Steven M. Gavit will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. The St. John Paul II Altar Rosary Society will pray the Rosary at 4:00 p.m. and a Vigil Service will take place at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
