Stephen Lane Bryant, 81, a native of Chesapeake, passed away in his home from natural causes on November 23, 2021. He was retired from Civil Service. He was an alumnus of Great Bridge High School. He is survived by his brother, Billy Bryant (Anita), sisters, Martha Parker (Charles); Margaret Boehm (David), Mary Beth Thompson and many nieces and nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Archie W. Bryant, Jr., mother, Wilma Bryant, and brother, Wyville Bryant III. After Stephen retired he had two hobbies; one was going to every major league baseball game that was played in their own stadium and traveling through out the United State and over seas. In his spare time he loved jigsaw puzzles and model ships. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
