Lawrence L. Hodge, 69, of New Haven CT, transitioned to eternal life on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at the Arden house in Hamden, CT after a long illness. He was born September 24, 1952 to the late William Barlowe and Alma Irene Barlowe. He was a loving father, brother, and uncle. Lawrence Hodge is survived by his lifelong friend, Wanda Cooper; children, Tarell Hodge, Laveil Perkins, Nickeen Hodge, Nicole Perkins, Brittany Hodge, Heaven Hodge, all of New Haven, CT; sister, Sherrell Bethea; grandchildren, Tarell Hodge, Taloni Hodge, Kenadai Hodge, and Paisley Cherry; uncle, Douglass Hodge; aunt, Evangelist Barbara Brooks; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Alma Barlowe; brother, Alan Barlow; and uncles, James Hodge and Harry Hodge.
