Edward E. Piasecke
<p>Edward E. Piasecke, 88, of Connellsville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 23, 2021 at Uniontown Hospital.</p> <p>He was born February 26, 1933 in Connellsville, a son of the late Thomas and Jennie (Dowd) Piasecke.</p> <p>He graduated from Immaculate Conception High School and after graduation, he began working to support his family.</p> <p>For many years, he was employed on the B & O Railroad where he worked for Eidemiller Construction, Inc. as a brakeman.</p> <p>He was an active and longtime member of Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Connellsville and he was a member of the Polish Club and the South Connellsville Rod and Gun Club.</p> <p>Every year, Ed looked forward to being able to spend his time hunting and fishing with his beloved family, which he thoroughly enjoyed.</p> <p>He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.</p> <p>Ed is survived by Robert Bevan and his daughter, Jacqueline Dawn Ray Bevan; nieces and nephews, Sandy Leighliter (Bill), Vincent Piasecke (Teri), Danny Piasecke, Jill Philburn (Dave) and family and Robert Sheets and family and numerous beloved great-nieces and nephews.</p> <p>In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his wife, Millicent E. Piasecke.</p> <p>Funeral arrangements are under the care and supervision of the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425.</p> <p>In following with Ed’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services held.</p> <p>Private graveside service and interment with the immediate family will be held at a later date at St. Joseph R.C.
