PITTSFIELD-Shirley R. Beaver, 86, died peacefully on November 19, 2021, in Pittsfield. Shirley was born on September 15, 1935, in Ware, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Clearance and Mary Smith. For many years she worked as a nurse’s assistant in the Bangor area. She enjoyed gardening, going to yard sales, and tending to her roses. She absolutely adored her beagles, Sugar and Dina. She is survived by her loving son, Russell Clapp. She was predeceased by her parents; and her son, David Smith. Care has been provided by Shorey-Nichols Funeral Home, Pittsfield.September 15, 1935 - November 19, 202109/15/193511/19/2021
