Mr. Merrill Edward Morrison

Mr. Merrill Edward Morrison, 78, of Aiken, SC, entered into rest Tuesday, November 23, 2021. Born in Center, Alabama he was the son of the late Joe Morrison and the late Christine Mote Morrison. He has been a resident of Aiken County since 1953.  Merrill worked at Procter & Gamble’s Augusta, GA facility from 1966 to 1985.  He was a well-loved resident of Cumberland Village.Merrill enjoyed playing guitar and working on antique cars with his brothers and son. He is preceded in death by siblings, Sonya Morgan, Jerry Morrison, and Wayne Morrison. Left to cherish his memory is his son, Merrill DAVID Morrison (wife Mitzi nee. Roberts), grandchildren, Amanda Morrison and Matthew Morrison. Siblings, Betty Hall, Carol Walker, Jimmy Morrison, Ricky Morrison, and Roger Morrison. The family will greet friends on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, beginning at 3 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, SC.  A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 4 o'clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Pastor John Kirby will officiate.  It has been asked that memorials be made to the help staff of Cumberland Village, Aiken SC.
