Richard C. Wenzlick, 70, of Necedah, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Select Specialty Hospital in Madison.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown.  Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the Young Eagles program which has dedicated more than 25 years to giving youth ages 8–17 their first free ride in an airplane.  Hafemeister Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Watertown is serving the family. Online condolences may be made at <a href="http://www.hafemeisterfh.com/" data-saferedirecturl="https://www.google.com/url?q=http://www.hafemeisterfh.com&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1637799593709000&amp;usg=AOvVaw1F6vegmAZaAw-ikm8N4wr9">www.hafemeisterfh.com</a>.      Richard Carroll Wenzlick was born on December 13, 1950 to Arthur and Erlys (nee Shirk) in Rapid City, South Dakota.  On September 12, 1970 he married Sandra (nee Brody) in Johnson Creek.  Earlier in his career Rich had earned an associates degree in electronics but most recently was working for Sentry Manufacturing in Oconomowoc as an assembler.   Rich had a passion for aviation and had owned and built his own airplane.  He had a love for the outdoors and had relocated to Necedah where he began to farm his own land for food plots for deer.  He was an avid Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers fan. He loved the Black Hills, mountains, and had a pioneer spirit.  Rich is survived by his wife Sandy Wenzlick of Necedah; sons:  Kelly (Kimberly) Wenzlick of Fort Atkinson, Jeremy (Lisa) Wenzlick of Oconomowoc; grandchildren:  Jakob, ToriOnna, Taylor, Erin, and Ryleigh Wenzlick; siblings: Larry (Karen) Wenzlick of South Dakota, Vicki Wenzlick of Johnson Creek, Gary Wenzlick of Johnson Creek, Kathleen (Bill) Fisher of Las Vegas, Dale (Stephanie) Wenzlick of Johnson Creek; his dogs, Izzy and Chloe, as well as other relatives and friends.
