Cheryl "Cherie" A. Luedtke Obituary

Memorial Services will be held on Monday, December 27, 2021 at 5:30pm at Friedens Church, 454 N. Milwaukee Street in Port Washington for Cheryl “Cherie” A. Luedtke who was reunited with her parents on Monday, November 22, 2021 at the age of 79 years. Visitation will be on Monday at the church from 4:00pm to 5:30pm. Cherie was born in Waukesha, Wisconsin on October 22, 1942, the daughter of the late Eugene and Ethel (nee Schwertfeger) Lewis. In her younger life she enjoyed spending time at Big Cedar Lake. More recently she has spent her time attending all her grandchildren’s sporting events and musical performances. She had a love of movies, old and new, and is a 3 time family Oscar winner, Cherie’s all-time favorite holiday was Christmas and she enjoyed watching her Hallmark Christmas Movies and celebrating with her family all together. Even though her family continues to argue about who her favorite was, she was definitely ours. Cherie is survived by her 4 children; Jean (Adam) Kimpler, Jay (Jenny), Jarrod (Mary) and Joan (Dan) Nash, her 11 cherished grandchildren; Abigail (Brooks) Gahart, Lindsey, Leeland, Margaret, Callahan, Piercen, Jaelyn, Neala, Ryden, Cannon and Colton, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Ethel.
