Anne Perno of Hanover, MA died unexpectedly at her home on November 21, 2021. She was born in New Haven, CT on March 4, 1947, to the late Anthony and Raffaella Gambardella Perno. Anne was a graduate of Wilbur Cross High School where she was a majorette and member of Phi Kappa Sigma Sorority. She studied at Connecticut College, received her Masters in guidance counseling at Boston University and her MBA at Babson. She was a free-spirited person filled with courage and stamina meeting every challenge with a positive attitude. She loved to participate in all types of sports activities from golf to tennis-kayaking and even show shoeing through Walnut Creek in the winters. Neighbors often saw her around the WC circle on her walker, resting every now and again taking photos of WC. Anne participated in the WC Book Club and loved going to WC Socials. She last attended the Progressive Dinner in October. She was a world traveler who visited all continents and many countries. Anne is survived by her brother Anthony (Yvonne) Perno, nieces Lauren Perno (Claudio) Scirocco and Jill Perno (Basil) Mirren, grand nieces and nephews Juliana, Antonio, Peter Basil and Martine as well as many cousins and friends. She will be deeply missed. Visiting hours will be Friday November 26, 2021, from 10:00-11:30am in the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. 11 Wooster Place, New Haven.
