Rose Marie Hall
(1944-2021)
Devoted Wife, Mother, and Mawmaw
Rose Marie Hall, age 77, was called home on November 22, 2021 with her family
by her side.
Rose was born in Biloxi on August 10, 1944 to Joseph and Winnie Wadrick. She
shared an unbreakable bond with her twin sister Eva Marie.
Sixty-eight years ago, she met her soul mate, Jimmy Hall. They spent their days
“cruising” and their nights dancing. When Rose and Jimmy would dance, whether
it was on a dancefloor, concrete slab, or parking lot at a car show, people would
stop and admire them. After 10 years together, they were married. In 1966,
they had their first son Chester Joseph. Six years later, they completed their family
with Bryan Keith Michael (Willie). They shared a lifetime of love and happiness.
Rose worked as a cafeteria manager with the Biloxi Public School Systems. She
loved to cook for people and would make the most amazing things. She could
turn a watermelon into a masterpiece.
She was a “classic” car enthusiast and a member of Lighthouse Cruisers. The
smile was endless when she would cruise with Jimmy. She loved showcasing her
1951 Mercury “The Bopper”.
Rose was devoted to her family and friends. She was blessed with four
grandchildren, who she doted over daily. From the oldest at 23 to the youngest at
8, they knew where to go to fill their bellies or get their backs scratched. She
loved playing Bunco, reading, drinking coffee, and conversation about the good
“ole” days.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Winnie Wadrick, and two
sisters, Eunice Simmons and Lillie Monk. She is survived by her husband of 58
years, Jimmy Hall; her children, Chester and Cecilia Hall and Willie and Leah Hall;
her twin sister, Eva Marie Hayden (Larry;, her four grandchildren, Justin Hall,
Dylan Hall, Chester Joseph Hall Jr. (C.J.), and Sylvia Roselynn Hall (Sibbie), and
several cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
She will be remembered and missed by all who knew her. Rose will be
remembered by her beautiful smile and fiery spirit that served to strengthen
everyone around her.
