Rhonda Jean Renz, 68, passed on November 13, 2021 from a heart attack at Skyridge Medical Center in Lone Tree Colorado. Rhonda was born in Illinois but moved with her parents to Twin Lakes, near Leadville Colorado, in June 1961. In 1970 she met my father, Glenn Renz, and they married in March 1971. She is proceeded in death by her parents Edward and Marilyn Meyer as well as her brother Eddie. She is survived by her husband, Glenn Renz, daughter Ranee (Jeff) Burch and son Gregory Renz. She has six grandchildren: L.T., Tana, Shyloah (Josh) Renz-Mazzurco, Nephratiery, Dakota, and Benjamine “Zemi” and 2 great grandchildren: Shenandoah (age 3) and Ezarah (age 2). 3 Sisters: Barb, Cindy, and Paula along with many nieces and nephews; 1 Sister-in-law Fern; and 2 Brother-in-laws Rick (Rose) and Ernie (Pat). She resided with her daughter For the past eight years in Castle Rock and Simla due to health issues. She missed her friends and life in Leadville but kept in close touch with many friends by phone. Special acknowledgment to the friends who had come to visit her as she was unable to even make a day trip to Leadville even for a funeral as well as the friends that would come and help her out notably Alana. You were all truly special to her and she loved you all so much. There was also no doubt she adored all her grand and great grandbabies!! Memorial services will be held on December 3 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM in Arvada at the Malesich and Shirey Funeral Home with a second gathering next summer To scatter her ashes in Twin Lakes per her wishes.
