Garland L. Perdue, 95 of Winifrede died November 20, 2021 in the Hubbard Hospice Unit at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston.
He was a retired coal miner and was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by Wife: Ima-Jean Hudson Perdue, Parents: Albert and Wessie Faye Wiley Perdue, Brothers: Charles, Keith and Tom Perdue and Sisters: Juanita Petry and Lillian Buffering.

Sons: Gary Lee (Linda) Perdue of Winifrede,
Harry Bruce (Tracy) Perdue of Winifrede,
Daughters: Joanna (Elbin) Derrick of Winifrede,
Mary Meadows of Scott Depot,
Pam Hicks of Charleston,
Grandchildren: Michelle Hastings, Donald Canterbury Jr., Jeremy Gibson, Zoe, Holli, Gunner and Heidi Perdue, Kandace Edwards, Kim and Brian Smith, Angel Gonzalez, Amber, Russell and Jessie Derrick, Elbin Derrick Jr.,
Twenty-three Great Grandchildren,
His beloved cat Prissy Girl,
Many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday November 24, 2021 at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet with Rev. Gary Frampton officiating. Burial will follow in Massey Cemetery, Winifrede. Friends may call 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
