Henry Edward Lingefelt, Sr.

Funeral services for Mr. Henry Edward Lingefelt, Sr. are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, November 27, 2021 in the chapel with Bro. Buddy Hodges and Bro. Mike McPherson officiating. Interment will follow in the McKnight Cemetery in Holly Ridge, La. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Lingefelt, a retired truck driver and member of Bastrop United Pentecostal Church, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021 at the age of 81. He loved spending time with all of his family and working with his animals on his farm. Mr. Lingefelt is survived by the mother of his children, Lucinda Crenshaw and husband Nonnie; sons, Henry Lingefelt, Jr and wife Kathy, Gerald Lingefelt and girlfriend Mandy, Jeffrey Lingefelt and wife Sam all of Bastrop; eight siblings; seven grandchildren, Chad Lingefelt and wife Katie, Lynda Tubbs and husband Josh, Valerie Campbell, Heather Longon and husband Tony, Gerald Lingefelt, Jr. and wife Ashley, Christen Coon and husband Chris, Chalene O’Bryant and boyfriend Ronnie Hogan; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Betsy Lingefelt; daughters, Carolyn Campbell and Virginia Lingefelt; two brothers and two sisters. Serving as pallbearers are: Joey Warren, Dennis Mc Knight, Chalin Willis, Tony Munholland, Raymond Little, Jr., Richard Addington, Danny McKnight and Jimmy Dean Garner. Honorary pallbearer is Shane Lingefelt.
