Port Barre – A Memorial Service will be held for Linda Barron Stermer on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Port Barre.

Linda, age 67, a resident of Port Barre, passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Lafayette General Hospital.

She is survived by sons, Andrew Paul Cano, Sr., and wife, Myshell of Port Barre, and Shane Comeaux, and wife, Cindy of Oklahoma, stepson, Kenneth Stermer and wife Dana of Oklahoma, step Daughter, Paula Kincaid of Oklahoma, brother, Dale Barron and wife, Cindy of Port Barre, sisters, Jackie Guidroz of Port Barre, Priscilla “Pris” Lejeune and husband, Steven of Port Barre, Pat Gauthier and husband, Bobby of Port Barre, Cheryl Leger and husband Leroy of Port Barre, and Judy Richard and husband, Terry of Port Barre, and 22 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Stermer, her parents, Lennis and Bernice Lalonde Barron, daughter, Bridget Quebedeaux, brother, Nelson Barron.
