Kevin Wayne Wilkinson

<p>Kevin W. Wilkinson, age 61 of Prairie du Chien was given back the freedom to be on the road again on Sunday, November 21, 2021, at his home surrounded by family. He was born in Lancaster, WI on September 22, 1960, the son of Jerry and Ilene (Sletten) Wilkinson. He graduated from West Grant High School before continuing his education in auto mechanics at Vo-Tech School in Fennimore, WI. Kevin married Debralee Hussmann in 2003. Together, they owned and operated Red&rsquo;s House of Hair in Prairie du Chien. With the help of Rose and the late Jerry Marrow, they recently fulfilled a life-long dream of Kevin&rsquo;s in owning his own semi-truck and starting their own business, Last Chance Trucking. He was also First Officer in the Rural Bridgeport &amp; Prairie du Chien Volunteer Fire Department. In recent months, Kevin was amazed and touched by the support of his friends and family, especially his wife and daughter Traci. Kevin shared this saying with Deb, &ldquo;3 times a charm, forever, only, and always&rdquo;. He is survived by his wife of 18 years Deb; his children Nichole (Jason), Kelsey, and Kayden Kreul, and Traci (Levi Donahue) Wilkinson, their children Charleigh Donahue and a baby girl on the way; his father Jerry Wilkinson; his sister Karen (Gary) Welter, several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Ilene Wilkinson.</p> <p>A Funeral Procession will depart from the Garrity Funeral Home in Prairie du Chien on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. for the Patch Grove Cemetery in Patch Grove, WI. A Celebration of Life will be held immediately following the burial at Home-A-Gins Bar and Grill in Mount Hope, WI. Kevin&rsquo;s family invites motorcyclists to join the procession.&nbsp;</p>

Was lucky to live across the street from the Wilkinson family so many memories to cherish as living in a small town where the kids in town loved playing together at the Wilkinson house nothing better than friends family great neighbors and growing up in Mount Hope
