Jeffrey Wayne Louis, 56, of Elk City, Oklahoma was born on May 26, 1965 in Elk City, Oklahoma. He is the son of Clifford Wayne and Virginia Lee (Cowell) Louis. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 20, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Jeff graduated from Elk City High School, Class of 1983. He then attended Kaplin University and received an Associates Degree in Human Resources. Jeff married the love of his life, Greta Sue Shelton on June 1,1985 in Elk City, Oklahoma. He loved watching any type of ball games especially the ones his grandchildren and nephews played in. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, Friday night movies, playing and building corn hole boards, drawing, cooking out on the grill but above all he loved his family and the time he got to spend with them. Jeff was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Elk City Oklahoma where he taught Youth Sunday School, supervised the Falls Creek Youth and went on mission trips. He was a member of the Gideon Association. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 29, 2021 at First Baptist Church, Elk City, Oklahoma. Dr. Russell Duck will officiate, Rev. Matt Bradshaw will assist. Services have been entrusted to the care of Richard and Tammy Dugger and the staff of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City, Oklahoma. Cherishing his memory is loving wife of thirty-six years, Greta Shelton-Louis of the home; son, Justin Louis and his wife, Emily of Sayre, Oklahoma; daughter, Cassie McKeaigg and her husband, Jason of Hinton, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Zeke Curtis of Sayre, Oklahoma, Paeten Louis of Elk City, Oklahoma, Hayden Louis of Sayre, Oklahoma, Kada Louis, Diesen McKeaigg, and Braya McKeaigg all of Hinton, Oklahoma; mother, Virginia Ortiz; two brothers, David Louis of Elk City, Oklahoma, Chris Louis and his wife, Becki of Russellville, Arkansas; one sister, Bettina Jackson and her husband Shelby of Elk City, Oklahoma; maternal grandmother, Nora Lee Cowell of Ward, Arkansas; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. Preceded in death by his father, Clifford Louis; maternal grandfather, A.L. Cowell; and his paternal grandparents, Roy and Adelia Rushing.
