Steven Ray Collins, 58-year-old Sapulpa resident, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021, at the Ascension St. John’s Medical Center in Tulsa. He was born on February 6, 1963, in Apple Valley, California to George Junior and Mary Martha (Conatzer) Collins. Steven grew up in Pryor and Wagoner, and attended school there. He had his own roofing company and worked in Florida, before a work related accident disabled him. Steven was an excellent roofer and sheet metal worker. He enjoyed catfishing when time permitted him to go. The family includes, his brother Johnny Collins of Sperry, two nephews, Cody Collins of Sapulpa, Jace Collins of Wichita Falls, Texas, his aunts, Louise Doll of Tulsa, Sarah Woodard of Tulsa and Deborah C. Miller of Broken Arrow, also numerous cousin survive as well. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and numerous aunts and uncles. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, November 28, 2021, at the Stephens-Key Chapel in Pryor. The celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 29, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. in the Stephens-Key Chapel in Pryor, with Pastor Roger Parker officiating.
