William “Bill” Kostkowski October 21, 1945 – November 19, 2021 (age 76) William “Bill” Kostkowski of Millersville, MD passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021 at his residence, surrounded by loved ones, at the age of 76. Bill was born on October 21, 1945 in Annapolis, MD to the late Gertrude “Trudy” Kostkowski (nee Norris) and Raymond Kostkowski. Bill is survived by his siblings Joe, Mary, Don, Mike, John, Carol, Ed, Joni, and Genie, and many nieces and nephews. Bill served in the Army for two years. He was a lifelong member of Our Lady of the Fields Catholic Church. He always had a strong faith and love for his family. Bill was known for his sharp wit, dry sense of humor, and knowledge on just about every subject. He was an expert on every type of technology and home repair. Bill enjoyed coaching baseball with John, his brother, at Gambrills Athletic Club for many years. At the same time, they coached basketball at GORC. Later, they coached for and with their niece, Erica, for Arden. Bill often wore a shirt that read, “The best Brothers are promoted to Uncle” – a statement he took very seriously as a faithful field trip chaperone, walking buddy (to include riding on his shoulders), teacher, mentor, chauffeur, and friend.
