Benjamin Carr, Jr.

Benjamin "Ben" Carr, Jr., age 62, passed into his eternal life with our lord Jesus Christ, November 17, 2021 at Ocean Springs Hospital. Ben was born in Biloxi, MS on August 30, 1959, to parents Ben and Gloria Carr of Biloxi, MS. He was raised on the Gulf Coast.

Ben believed in hard work (dating back to the family business, Carr Auto Parts Inc.), honesty and generosity. He followed closely in the footsteps of his father Ben. If you knew him you knew that saltwater was his cure for everything. His love for the water started at a very young age. He was also a jack of all trades and could fix anything. He currently worked at Treasure Bay Casino for the last 15 years. 

Ben was preceded in death by his father Ben Carr Sr.

He is survived by his mother, Gloria Carr; sister, Debra (Roger) Simpson; nephew, Joel (Mallory) Simpson; niece Jennifer (Wesley) Brantley, and their children Katelyn, Gavin and Benjamin. Ben also leaves behind countless family and friends. Ben’s dog Heidi will live out her days with Ben’s family.

Funeral services for Ben will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 2:00 PM with visitation starting at 1:00 Pm at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd. Biloxi, MS.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to First Baptist Church, Biloxi. 

Interment will follow at Southern Memorial Park, Biloxi.
