Andy J. A. Yoder 83, of 2648 SR 557, Baltic, passed away at his residence on Saturday, November 20, 2021, surrounded by his family after a period of declining health. He was born on September 3, 1938, to the late Joe and Anna (Troyer) Yoder. On January 18, 1962 he married Katie Ann Miller who survives. Andy was a retired farmer and a member of the Old Order Amish Church where he was ordained as a minister in 1963. He is survived by his wife Katie Ann and their children; Verna Yoder of Farmerstown, Esta Yoder of Farmerstown, Sarah (Dennis) Hershberger of Dundee, Edwin (Laura) Yoder of Farmerstown, Crist (Miriam) Yoder of Charm, Mary (Vernon) Mast of Millersburg, Anna (Aden) Stutzman of Becks Mills, Sam (Ada) Yoder of the home and Marvin (Ruby) Yoder of Coshocton; 35 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren; siblings, Mary (Roman) Yoder, Ella (Jacob) Yoder, Dan (Clara) Yoder, Crist (Esther) Yoder, Joe (Ella) Yoder, Sam (Mary) Yoder, Verna (Ben) Miller; and sisters-in-law, Anna Yoder and Amanda Yoder. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Jacob, Aaron and Rachel Yoder; siblings Levi Yoder, Aden Yoder, Jonas Yoder and sister-in-law Mary Yoder. Funeral services will be held at the home on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. with Bishop Emanuel H. Yoder officiating. Burial will follow in the Yoder Cemetery on the family farm. Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. on Saturday and anytime on Sunday. A special thank you to LifeCare Hospice for their assistance and care during Andy’s illness.
