Ruby Jo Stahl

Ruby Jo Stahl, age 80, of Griffin, Georgia passed away on November 18, 2021 at her residence.

Ruby was born on May 29, 1941 in Birmingham, Alabama. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years, Edward Stahl; parents, Sadie Messer Smith and Henry Smith, and seven brothers and sisters. “Nanny” adored her grandchildren, was an Elvis Presley fan, and enjoyed playing with her canasta club. Her hobbies included painting, sewing, and jewelry making. Ruby attended Union Baptist Church in Griffin.

Ruby is survived by her daughter, Sandra Brandon (Jerry) of Griffin; sons, Chad Stahl (Carol) of Barnesville, Scott Stahl (Kisa) of Jackson; grandchildren, Stephanie, Devin, Cody, Braden, Addison, Taylor, Kylie, Marisa; great grandchild, Ansleigh; several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Ruby will be Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service in the Chapel. Pastor Timothy Conort will officiate.
