Nina Lynn Robinson Nina was born on 9 October 1948 in Everett, Washington. She went to be with her Lord on 11 November 2021 at her home in Tacoma, Washington. Nina grew up in the Midland, Washington area and attended Midland Grade School, Ford Junior High and in 1967, graduated from Franklin Pierce High School. She attended Western Baptist College in El Cerrito, California for two years. Nina returned to Tacoma and started to work at Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma, Washington. She worked as a government service employee from August 1978 to November 2015. While at Madigan, Nina found her passion in caring for military personnel and their families. She made numerous friends at Madigan and was active in the Union. Nina was an active member of Fellowship Bible Church for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents Donald, SR, and Betty Robinson. She was also preceded in death by her stepfather (Jack Reese) and brother Donald Robinson, JR. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, (Jay and Sheila Robinson), two nephews, two nieces and their families. Known as “Nineeer” to her friends, Nina loved taking care of her cats, nurturing her gardening, cheering on the Seahawks, collecting a variety of items and traveling to Washington lighthouses! She also loved having coffee and donuts and eating at either Red Robin or Red Lobster! In her early years, she loved fishing with her parents and hiking at Mt Rainier. She frequently helped her mom and stepdad with their glass collection. Nina enjoyed traveling to Fairbanks, Alaska and again to the Redwood National Forest, California and Crater Lake, Oregon. There will be a celebration of Nina’s life on Saturday 4 December at 1 PM at Fellowship Bible Church. The church is located at 3806 East Portland Avenue, Tacoma, WA 98404. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be sent to the Fellowship Bible Church and their local outreach program.
