Dasie Lee Crudup age 77 of Sturgis passed away Wednesday November 17, 2021 at Deaconess Hospital Union County. She was born July 4, 1944 to the late Daisy & James Banks Sr in Lake Village, AR. She was a matriarch of the family, who loved to cook. She was known for her Caramel cakes and chicken & dumplings. She enjoyed picking greens & fishing. She was a member of Mt. Sterling Presbyterian Church. She retired from Sturgis Pants Factory & Earl C. Clements Job Corp. She is preceded in death by her parents Daisy & James Banks Sr. Sisters Geneva Walker, & Louise Frye, a daughter Wendy Crudup, a son Darnell Crudup and a brother James Banks Jr. Survivors include: 2 Sons Terry Crudup of Sturgis, KY Rodney Crudup of Sturgis, KY 1 Daughter Vickie Crudup of East Point, MI 5 – Grandchildren 9 – Great Grandchildren Nieces & Nephews Funeral will be 1 PM on Wednesday 11/24/2021 at Mt. Sterling Presbyterian Church in Sturgis, KY. Visitation will be 11AM until service time at the church.
