WORTHINGTON, F. JACKSON Passed peacefully at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre on Monday November 15, 2021 in his 98th year. Beloved husband of the late Ruth Annie Worthington (nee Thornton). Much loved dad to Lynn Barry Worthington and his wife Sandra ,Laura Pilby and her husband John, James Worthington and Barb. Cherished grandpa to Paul and his wife Mary Jane, Sherry and her husband Derek and Elise. Dear great-grandpa to Jaxon, Liam, Kyle and Kendra. Jack was a WWII Veteran. He enlisted during WWII and was assigned to the Royal Canadian Air Force. He loved the outdoors and nature and he could identify almost any bird. Jack also loved spending time in the boat, fishing with his son. The Worthington family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all of the staff at the Sunnybrook Veterans Center for the finest quality of care and the kindness they showed Jack. We ask that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to The Royal Canadian Legion. A drop in celebration of life will take place at NEWCASTLE FUNERAL HOME on Monday November 22nd 2021 from 11 am - 2 pm.
