Marvin McFadden

Mr. Marvin McFadden was born October 4, 1960 to Mr. Russell McFadden and Mrs. Trudie Mae Smith Malette. He was preceded in death by his mother, Trudie Mae Smith Malette; a brother, James McArthur Smith; and his daughter, Sedina Jones. Marvin attended the Evans county school system, and at an early age, joined the New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Reidsville, Georgia. Later he moved to Eustis, Florida, where he worked for Dual Stress Cement Inc., of Leesburg, Florida. Later, Marvin relocated back to Claxton, Georgia and worked for Claxton Poultry and The Claxton Bakery. He also rejoined the New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. Marvin departed this life on November 13, 2021 at Brown’s Rehabilitation Center in Statesboro, Georgia after an extended illness. He leaves the following loved ones to fondly cherish his memory: one son: Mr. Delvon Jones of Eustis, Florida; one daughter, Ms. Santana McFadden of Eustis, Florida; three grandchildren: Kaley Puritt, Magic Smith and Jamal Johnson; one great-grandchild, Jamal Johnson, Jr.; five sisters: Mrs. Marian McKinnon (Gene), Mrs. Bernistine Wilkerson (Julian), and Mrs. Jeanette Lewis, all of Claxton, Georgia, Ms. Jackie Davis and Mrs. Janet Lane (Mike), both of Thomasville, Georgia; five brothers: Mr. Floyd McFadden, Mr. Russell McFadden, Jr., Mr. Ricky McFadden (Candace), and Mr. Kenneth McFadden, all of Claxton, Georgia and Mr. Gary McFadden of Eustis, Florida; four aunts: Mrs. Rose Smith of Miami, Florida, Mrs. Lillie Mae Dudley of Arkansas, Mrs. Mildred Foreman of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Mrs. Gloria Dean Stanley of Vidalia, Georgia; two uncles: Elder James McFadden of Cairo, Georgia and Dea. Donald McFadden (Loretta) of Hagan, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
